CommerceNet fellow Lisa Dusseault attended the Internet Engineering Task Force’s (IETF) 71st annual meeting in Philadelphia, March 9 – 14. Dusseault is responsible for the Applications area, along with Chris Newman. IETF meetings, held three time a year, are week-long “gatherings of the tribes,” the primary goal of which is to reinvigorate the working groups. These meetings are of little interest to sales and marketing folks–but are of high interest to engineers and developers.
